The Centre is a new facility, situated in the heart of Bideford, offering a range of open learning in a variety of subjects. It also has a training room with projection facilities for small group work.

The Centre has 24 computer work stations with broadband connection to the Internet providing access to Information Technology services and facilities for the whole community. There is training available in a variety of courses that can lead to recognised qualifications such as the ECDL Extra.

We also provide Internet access at £2 per hour (minimum 15 minutes).

Work Programme is a Government in initiative to provide support for people claiming Jobseekers/ Employment and Support Allowances or Incapacity Benefit into sustainable jobs. 

It will help individuals to prepare and train for employment and find and retain jobs suitable to their circumstances and abilities.

As a coherent package of support for people out of work, it will help jobseekers regardless of the barriers they face or the benefits they claim.
