All our tutors are trained, or training for, the Certificate of Education. Please ask in the Centre for further details.


Pathfinder Open Access Centre has been running for several years offering a range of open distance learning in a variety of subjects.  It has 20 computer work stations available for student use, general hire and Internet access via broadband.  Internet and computer hire is currently charged at £2.00 per hour (minimum 15 minutes).

Friday: 9.30 am to 1.30 pm & 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm

Pathfinder Learning Centre is a leader in the delivery of open access, roll-on roll-off Information Communication Technology courses and we currently offer several attractive training packages including the European Computer Driving Licence.  Please see our Training Page for current courses.
Learndirect is a new government initiative providing a variety of courses in a range of Information Communication Technology and other subjects through approved learning centres.  The courses are delivered on-line over the Internet or by CD-ROM.
