What does the course cover?

Surf.direct is a user-friendly introduction to the basic skills needed to use a computer and the Internet. This course is aimed at those learners who have no prior knowledge of how to use a computer and would like to learn to use the Internet for practical and fun reasons.

The learner will start at the very beginning with sections on starting the computer and how to use the mouse and the keyboard. It then moves on at a steady pace until they are confident enough to search the Internet and send and receive emails.
